era of international finance capital,
the real material world of things appears
to be an illusion while the world of finance
appears as the real world. The present
paper explains this illusionism and outlines
the theoretical universe of this illusionism.
It gives illustrations of such illusionism
and shows how such illusionism permeates
not just economics discussions but the
entire social and political discourse.
