Call for Papers: Conference on Feminist Economics, August 5-7, 2004, St. Hilda's College, Oxford, England.

The conference will highlight IAFFE's interest in issues of global importance as well as aspects on which there is emerging feminist economics research. It will also encourage more focus on economic history. The themes for the conference accordingly include:

Poverty and Gender: Extent, Causes, Implications, Remedies
Engendering the Environmental Debate
Gender and the Legacy of Empire
Gender Gaps in Property and Wealth: extent and outcomes
Governance and Institutions: gender perspectives
Gender and Aging
Migration and Gender in the context of Globalization

As always, IAFFE invites innovative insights from all disciplines to contribute to the development of feminist approaches to economics.

Please submit your paper/panel abstract(s) by April 1, 2004 via email to: iaffe@bucknell.edu. Save your abstract as "yourlastname.ab.04" i.e. shackel.ab.03. Please include your name, affiliation, postal address, and e-mail address on the abstract itself. For panels, please provide the names, affiliations, addresses and emails for all speakers.

Those without electronic access may submit abstracts through regular mail or fax, with the author's name and address on the abstract. Mail to: IAFFE, 100 D Roberts Hall, Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Fax No: 570-577-3451.

Submissions that do not follow the above procedures may not be considered.
