The conference will highlight IAFFE's interest
in issues of global importance as well as aspects
on which there is emerging feminist economics research.
It will also encourage more focus on economic history.
The themes for the conference accordingly include:
Poverty and Gender: Extent, Causes, Implications,
Remedies
Engendering the Environmental Debate
Gender and the Legacy of Empire
Gender Gaps in Property and Wealth: extent and outcomes
Governance and Institutions: gender perspectives
Gender and Aging

As always, IAFFE invites innovative insights from
all disciplines to contribute to the development of
feminist approaches to economics.
