IDEAs held two plenary sessions at the First International Conference on the Ethiopian Economy convened by the Ethiopian Economic Association from January 3-5, 2003 at the United Nations Conference Center, Addis Ababa. The speakers spoke on how the orthodox economic policies of the neoliberals are adversely affecting various sectors of economies in developing countries and various segments of their population.
