Alternatives for Capitalist Globalization: Potential of Russia Organized by State Duma of Russian Federation (Committee on Education and Science) and "Alternatives" Foundation

Moscow, June 21-23, 2002, Russian State Library

Main topics for debates:
  • Globalization and genesis of informational society: alternative models;
  • Opportunities of post-industrial development in Russia;
  • Transitional and third-world countries in global world: new challenges and socialist alternatives;
  • System crisis in Russia: global contents.

For participation in the conference, please, send us summary of your paper (1 p.) (until May 10) and information about yourself (copy of the passport, home and working address, place of work); we'll send you invitation from Duma of Russian Federation. Main papers of the conference will be published.

Accommodation:
Unfortunately, organisational committee can not pay for your trip and hotel, but we can help you to receive visa, reserve for you hotel ($30 - $100) or hostel ($ 10-20), meet you in the airport, organise tours in Moscow, buy tickets to Bolshoy ballet.

Registration fee for participants from OECD countries $30.
